“The sea view villa was great. Massive room and massive bed with all amenities needed. 50 meters to a stunning empty beach that stretches for miles. Water is turquoise and calm. A few higher end hotels within walking distance. Otherwise a tuk tuk to main strip of nilaveli beach where there is a really cool beach bar called That's Why. We did amazing snorkeling trips to Coral and Pigeon islands.” - Dale, South Africa

“The room was amazing, we got upgraded to the sea view room and I must say it’s the biggest and best bed we have slept on in Sri Lanka. Staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, all other meals we had at the restaurant were the same. The staff also included us in Some traditional Sri Lankan activities. The beach out the front was clean and great for swimming. This was a great place to stay and the staff made it extra special.”

“The rooms were extremely spacious and comfortable (nice matrasses). The view from the room at the top of the building (ours) was absolutely stunning. From there you could literally have a shower above the jungle canope and that was amazing. The food was delicious and very fresh due to they're system of ordering in advance. The staff was very kind and thoughtful. The snorkelling at coral island was relaxed and quiet, we were the only ones there. The manager was extremely helpful since we had forgotten our passports in our room.”

"The location is very remote but offers everything you need. The staff is caring and provides lunch and dinner if needed. You can also walk 10 min along the beach to another big hotel and have a drink. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The large terrace is a wonderful place to relax."

Calm beautiful Charming place. The rooms are built separately as a separate house. Very clean and the towels smelt sandalwood. I loved it. The beach is just few steps away. Beautiful beach just front of the hotel. The staffs are very polite and discreet. Nice fresh food on menu. I will always book the same room next time as the view of the sea is so beautiful.

"Sea view villa was fantastic! Beautiful, comfortable and very clean! Staff very helpful and friendly. Food is very good for breakfast, absolutely delicious for dinner( I would recommended vegetarian rice and curry and rotti), but not lunch, I think traditionally they don’t eat much for lunches. Location is good, it’s quiet, no music or parties around at night. And easy ride on tuk tuk to Nilaveli, Uppuveli. Would highly recommend!"

The rooms are just great. Very spacious with a beautiful interior. A very nice garden lies just in front, with hammocks to relax. Fresh towels are available whenever needed, for both beach and bathroom. The breakfast is just amazing. Every morning was something different and each day was very delicious. In case you manage to eat all of the delivered food, you will be asked if you want more. Noone stays hungry in this place. The dinners are just as generous. The menu ranges from good local food, including some seafood options to western style food and also a range of juices and snacks are available. The accommodations ranges directly to the beach, where there are beach umbrellas. The beach is very clean and you can easily go swim and cool down in the sea. Watch out for the relatively strong current taking you north along the beach (it does not pull you out on the ocean) The ticket office for Pigeon Island is about a 500m walk south on the beach. However boats can pick you up right at the hotel.
